A visual walkthrough for new users: account access, the Chart workspace, paper trading, alerts, YeScript and where to find more help.
Overview
Use this guide as a complete workspace walkthrough from account setup to chart analysis, strategy automation, alerts, AI assistance and communication tools.
- Create a free account at tradeiz.com/signup or sign in if you already have one. Email verification unlocks chart and subscription features.
- From the home page or top navigation, choose Chart to open the trading workspace (or go directly to /chart).
- Sign in before opening Chart so layouts, alerts and paper trading balances sync to your account across devices.

- Complete email verification to unlock Chart and subscription features.
- From the home page or top navigation, choose Chart to open the trading workspace (or go directly to /chart).
Chart workspace map
The Chart workspace is organized into five zones. Use this map to orient yourself before diving into each feature.
- Top barSymbol search, timeframe, Paper Trading toggle, layout controls and the notification bell.
- Left watchlistSaved symbols, quick navigation and multi-pane symbol selection.
- Main chartLive candlestick charts with indicators, drawings and crosshair data.
- Right modulesDocked panels such as Paper Trading order form, market data and order flow tools.
- Bottom panelPositions, open orders and trade history for the active account mode.
Top toolbar
The chart header has two control rows: the top bar (layout, appearance, Paper Trading, Strategy, YeScript) and the indicator toolbar below it (timeframe, chart type, MAs, indicators, heatmap, footprint). Each control is documented in its matching section below.

Chart layout
Use the Chart dropdown on the top bar to switch multi-pane layouts and adjust candle opacity.
- Open Chart on the top bar to pick Single, 2 Columns, 2 Rows, 4/6/8 Grid layouts for multi-symbol analysis.
- Drag the Candle Opacity slider in the same menu to fade candles without hiding wicks.
- Click the Chart Appearance button (palette icon next to Chart) to open theme colors, grid and scale options.
Time & chart type
The indicator toolbar row controls how price is aggregated and rendered on the main chart.
- Use Time Interval quick buttons or the dropdown to switch from 1m through 1M — star favorites to pin intervals to the bar.
- Use Chart Type buttons or the dropdown for candles, hollow candles, OHLC bars, line, Heikin Ashi, Renko and more.
Drawing tools
Use the left drawing toolbar to mark trend structure, price levels, Fibonacci zones and trade plans directly on the chart canvas.
- Open the drawing menu from the left rail, then pick line, channel, shape or annotation tools.
- Favorite tools stay pinned for one-click reuse and are saved with your chart layout.
Indicators
Built-in studies are added from the indicator toolbar row — MA Type, Indicators dropdown and the indicator settings gear.
- Open MA Type to overlay SMA, EMA, WMA and other moving averages with preset periods.
- Open Indicators to search trending, momentum, volatility and volume studies; star favorites for one-click access.
- Click the indicator settings gear on the top bar to edit inputs, colors and pane placement for active studies.
- Switch sub-indicator panels and hide studies you are not using to keep the chart readable.
Right toolbar & module dock
The vertical right toolbar opens docked modules, communication drawers and Market Hub shortcuts. Each control is documented in its matching section below.
- Reset Module Layout (#moduleLayoutReset) — restore default dock panel sizes and order.

Markets & symbol details
The top module group on the right dock covers symbol discovery and per-symbol fundamentals.
- Click #marketsToggle to open the Markets panel — browse exchanges, filter symbols and switch the active chart symbol.
- Click #symbolDetailToggle to open Symbol Details — funding, OI, exchange metadata and related stats for the active symbol.
- Drag module headers to reorder or resize dock panels; collapse the dock to maximize chart space when needed.
Order flow
Order flow analysis combines orderbook, liquidation, CVD and delta views — plus Heatmap and Footprint overlays from the indicator toolbar.
- Open Heatmap on the indicator toolbar to toggle order, liquidation and predicted heatmap layers with colormap and intensity controls.
- Open Footprint to enable bid/ask footprint columns, delta profiles and related order-flow chart modes.
- Click #orderbookToggle and #liquidationToggle on the right toolbar to open orderbook and liquidation panels side by side in the dock.
- Pair CVD and delta indicators with price action to validate trend continuation or exhaustion.
Market hub
Four icons at the bottom of the right toolbar mirror the home-page top menu — each opens a left-floating popover with links to market data pages.
- Derivatives — screener, movers, liquidations, funding and discovery pages.
- Sentiment — overview, positioning and funding/OI sentiment views.
- DEX — DEX perps, whales, funding arb and Hyperliquid.
- Platform — Tradeiz AI, YeScript, desktop/mobile apps and API docs.
Paper trading
Practice with simulated balances — no real funds or exchange keys required. Enable Paper Trading from the toggle in the top bar.
- Enable Paper Trading from the top bar button — the same control shown in the toolbar screenshot.
- The order form lives in the Paper Trading module on the right dock.
- Open positions and working orders appear in the bottom panel.
- Switch between Trading and Assets tabs inside the dock module.
Paper trading — Assets tab
The Assets tab in the Paper Trading dock module shows your simulated spot holdings and available balances per coin.
Paper trading — Settings
Click the gear icon in the Paper Trading module header to open the deposit and reset popover. Deposits and resets are virtual only.
- Add virtual funds with Deposit to increase your demo balance.
- Use Reset to clear positions and restore your starting balance.
YeScript & indicators
Open YeScript from the top bar (code icon; use the arrow for starter templates) to write custom studies, alerts and chart automation. Explore syntax on the YeScript overview page.
Strategies & backtest
Use the Strategy workflow to manage script libraries, run backtests and inspect performance/trade logs without leaving the chart workspace.
- Open Strategy from the top bar to access script lists, templates and saved strategy versions.
- Run the script to populate backtest reports, trade lists and properties for parameter tuning.
- Strategy shares the bottom panel with YeScript — use the top bar Strategy button, not the YeScript editor toggle.
Overview
TRADEIZ AI is a dedicated surface on the right rail of the Chart workspace — separate from alerts and chat. Open it from the AI icon to get chart-aware answers, strategy help and backtests.
- Ask about the active symbol, timeframe, indicators and visible chart context.
- Use starter chips for market scans, EMA strategies and funding checks.
Chat history
Resume or delete past AI conversations from the history sidebar.
- Open History from the panel header to browse previous chats.
- Select multiple rows to bulk-delete old conversations.
Custom constraints
Save personal rules that are injected into every AI turn as system context.
- Open Custom Constraints to set language, default timeframe, risk limits and code style.
- Constraints apply to all new messages until you change or clear them.
Auto-Accept
When enabled, AI-generated YeScript changes apply without a diff review step.
- Toggle Auto-Accept in the panel header before asking for code edits.
- Leave it off when you want to review every diff before applying.
Alerts & notifications
Create price and indicator alerts from chart context menus and YeScript. Triggered alerts are delivered to the notifications drawer — open it with the bell on the right vertical toolbar (#notifToolbarBtn), not the top bar.
- Click #notifToolbarBtn on the right toolbar to open the notifications drawer.
- Review recent alerts, mark them read and jump back to the relevant symbol.
- Create new price alerts from the chart crosshair or indicator context; they appear here when triggered.
News
Hot crypto headlines open in a right-side drawer without leaving the chart workspace.
- Click #newsToolbarBtn on the right toolbar to open the News drawer.
- Headlines refresh automatically; click any item to read the full article in a new tab.
Chat & DM
Direct messages open from #dmToolbarBtn on the right toolbar and keep collaboration inside the chart workflow without switching apps.
- Click #dmToolbarBtn to open the DM drawer and start or resume conversations.
- Unread badges on the right rail help you track new activity while analyzing charts.
